High-Intensity Support
Individualised support plan, round-the-clock support, and skilled NDIS assistance – are some features of our high-intensity support service.
As an NDIS participant, you might have several complex needs that demand 24*7 support from specialised support workers. We cater to such needs with our high-intensity support service. This service covers more specialised and health-related support. Our high-intensity support plans are developed by qualified health practitioners and are delivered by trained support workers and registered nurses best suited to provide the required care.
Specialised Support For Your High-Intensity Needs
Under this service, we support people with complex medical needs, including but not limited to –
- Epilepsy and high-risk seizures: We will assess your epilepsy needs and engage in seizure management planning and documentation.
- Eating difficulties and swallowing (tube feeding): Our support workers will assist you with enteral feeding, enteral medication, and equipment cleaning/maintenance.
- Administer medications and subcutaneous injections: Our licensed nurses will ensure the timely intake of drugs and administer any subcutaneous injections.
- Complex bowel problems: This involves creating a specialised support plan with a medical practitioner to manage the participant's bowel management. It includes assistance with colostomy bags, the use of suppositories, etc.
- Diabetes: Implementing a diabetes management plan involves identifying and responding to hyper/hypoglycaemic episodes, monitoring and recording blood sugar levels (BSLs) and supporting medication intake.
- Complex wounds and pressure injuries: Manage and monitor wounds and pressure injuries as well as preventative strategies such as skin care, postural management, and minor dressings.
- Urinary catheter: Managing the replacement and disposal of bags and monitoring the type of urinary catheter.
Our specialised support workers always prioritise your well-being and offer complete medical support.
